As mentioned from the previous post, our main concern would be the safety of the children and making sure the playground will be able to boost their confidence and that children will frequent this playground over and over again.

My group will be constructing our playground based on the underwater yet magical theme. We will be having a special touch on the facilities and ambience. We will be putting up pictures of underwater animals and magical under water faeries on the walls of the slides. There will be an entrance( like that of the last part of the story, where Jesse built an entrance made of twigs and wood for Maybelle to enter), similar to that, so that the children will feel like that they are entering the magical sunken ship that will bring them on adventures. A few stationary sea horses or whales rides will be built for children to play on.

In conclusion, with the suitable theme set for the children, this playground should be able to let the children have the 'I can' attitude and NOT, 'I can't' attitude. They are able to do what normal children of their age do, thus, they will be happier! Just like how Leslie and Jesse became best friends, the children can also make more friends and perhaps even best friends!
